Their menu, celebrating the diversity and quality of Gippsland produce and complementing our award-winning range of wines and ciders, is one reason to visit. Our laid-back atmosphere, with plenty of space and activities for the kids, is another. We source all meat, eggs and vegetables used in our kitchen locally and produce a dining experience that is not to be missed.
History of our wines
In 2008, the Gray family, who shared a passion consumption of wine, yet no previous knowledge of winemaking nor viticulture, made a life changing decision, to breathe life back into the old run down Vineyard. With the help and knowledge of our winemaker Mal Stuart and Brad Mason, Avon Ridge has started to reproduce award winning wines it once made. Today we grow all the grapes used in the production of our wines here at Avon Ridge Vineyard, and specialise in Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.
